Description
The Pharmacy Administrative Assistant provides essential support to the consultant team by handling administrative tasks, ensuring efficient operation, and facilitating excellent customer service. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and organize consultation reports, project timelines, and employee timesheets
Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including phone calls, emails, and faxes
Maintain customer relationship management records for all client communications
Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate meetings for the consultant team
Assist with client invoicing
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree
Certified Pharmacy Technician
Previous experience in a pharmacy setting or administrative role preferred
Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access), Google Workspace, and Zoom
Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently
Attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive information

Description
The Integrated Care Consultant Pharmacist is a clinical role that works primarily with in collaboration with designated practitioners to optimize therapy and improve care outcomes for LTCF residents. This role requires travel throughout the Greater Houston area.
Key Responsibilities
Perform resident medication regimen reviews
Submit provider recommendations with clinical rationale
Therapeutic monitoring
Participate in provider rounds
Patient counseling
Requirements
Pharmacist license in the state of Texas
Preceptor certification in the state of Texas
BLS certification
Pharmacy-Based Immunization certification
Qualifications
Expert knowledge of treatment guidelines and geriatric standards of care, BCGP preferred
Experience in performing drug utilization reviews, medication regimen reviews and medication therapy management services
Ability to provide drug information to healthcare staff and residents
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work both independently and with a team
Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations governing pharmacy services in long-term care facilities
